    The first SDGs report for Ghana, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Indicator Baseline report has been launched. The report, launched by the Government of Ghana in collaboration with the United Nations in Ghana, with technical and financial support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), provides baseline status for a set of SDGs indicators and serves as a reference point for tracking progress on the achievement of the SDGs and the corresponding Africa Union’s Agenda 2063.

The study notes that many of the problems that need addressing have intensified since the last analysis of fiscal space carried out in 2010, due to both external and internal factors.

    This report presents findings from the 2014 Ghana Demographic and Health Survey (GDHS) implemented by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS). The report generates recent and reliable information on fertility, family planning, infant and child mortality, maternal and child health, and nutrition. The production of the report was supported by UNDP among others.
